they did a rear speed correction on the flash for the -1/+1 which is where i would wager they screwed up.Īnother issue which is just annoying the ever living shit out of me but i can ride it like this so it doesn't really matter is the initial throttle tip in is AWFUL now. they are trying to blame me because they would "wager you changed something in between then". i am getting voltage on the wires down to the ECU, sensor works perfect. on the smaller plug running a continuity check between the black/blue the ecu and black/blue the speedo plug and white/yellow the ecu and white/yellow the speedo plug they are indeed connected and they have minimal resistance on them as well. so my next thought was a break in the wire running down to the ECU. AC volts on my O-scope reading at the speed sensor AFTER the plug for it, it reads 100% within spec.

so i went through and started at the speedo sensor. running through the DIAG mode the ECU is not seeing anything coming from the speed sensor. BEFORE the flash i rode the bike and had zero codes, bike ran a little rough because of the exhaust/filter but it was just a lot of popping it reved fine.ĪFTER the ECU flash I now have a code 42 which is rear speed sensor, the traction control doesnt work, speedo doesnt work and the bike actually runs kind of weird.

Alright so i sent my ECU out to get flashed.
